Compare Mobile Phones: you Have Got the Right
Mobile phones are undoubtedly, one of the better inventions of 21st century with their inimitable technological prowess. Mobile phones have simplified our lives with their endless features. They have redefined communications, mobility and entertainment. They have brought into existence the concept of portable music players and TV’s. Apparently, mobile phones are a vital part of our lives now.
Gone are those days, when it used to be a daunting task to compare mobile phones in terms of looks and features. Now, internet will do this task for you. There are innumerable internet sites catering to this purpose. Mobile review sites and blogs examine each and every handset in terms of features and then give a ranking to handsets, also taking into consideration user’s opinions. Users can complain regarding cranky keypads, low battery lives and poor network services.
Nowadays, a plethora of online mobile shops have also sprung up. To buy a hot gizmo, all you need to do, is to log to any of these shops and you can get a handset at incredibly low rental rates and amazing tariff plans. All the handset makers, whether it’s Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, LG or Motorola have now made their products available online through different merchants and their affiliates.
Various mobile phone deals are available like contract mobile phone deals and pay-as-you-go deals. You can also get handsets sim-free i.e. without any connection. In contract mobile phone deals, after paying a minimal security deposit, you can enter into a contract with the service provider. Entering into a contract may not be desirable but there are tremendous advantages during the contract period. You can benefit from low network-to-network call rates, free roaming and low call rates. At the end of the contract period, one can comfortably switch to a higher plan. Undoubtedly, contract mobile phone deals are the most convenient way to avail a mobile phone now.
Online mobile sites also offer you the freedom of comparing different deals. You can compare mobile phone deals in terms of incentives offered and the costs. With so many deals, it gets quite confusing to pick the best. Due prudence and adequate knowledge of your own short-term and long-term needs is required for making the right choice.

Mobile Commerce (M-commerce)
Mobile Commerce (M-commerce)
Introduction
Rarely has a new area of business been heralded with such enthusiasm as “mobile commerce”, that is the conduct of business and services over portable, wireless devices. Due to the astronomical growth of the Internet users, maturation of the Internet technologies, realization of the Internet’s capabilities, the power of electronic commerce, and the promising advancement of wireless communication technologies and devices, mobile commerce has rapidly attained the business forefront. An m-commerce application can be B2B, B2C or any other of the classifications available with e-commerce world.
Motivating Factors for M-Commerce
Internet use has grown to such a level on the strength of PC networks. Due to the huge base of installed PCs, which is predicted to grow in a faster pace in the days to come, electronic commerce and other communication applications are bound to thrive further. Also, these computing systems will have greater power and storage capability, the best ever price-performance ratios, more powerful and sophisticated applications will likely emerge for desktop computing and the Internet. However, there are two major limitations on PCs. First , users have to sit in front of them, PCs, even portable-notebook computers, have to load software, dial into and connect with a network service provider and await for the initial process to be accomplished before launching an Internet application.
Wireless Technologies
Just as the TCP/IP and the general purpose Web browsers are being the current principal drivers of Internet growth and this in turn makes disparate devices to connect themselves and communicate and interoperate. Similar protocols, technologies and software will play a very important role in heterogeneous wireless devices to interoperate without any complexity. In the recent past, a common communications technology and uniform interface standard for presenting and delivering several distinct wireless services on wireless devices – Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) have emerged. The WAP specifications include a micro-browser, scripting language just like JavaScript, access functions and layered communication specifications for sessions, transport and security. These specifications enable interface-independent and interoperable applications. Many of the wireless device manufacturers, service and infrastructure providers have started to adopt the WAP standard.
M-Commerce Applications
The general m-commerce applications are categorized as transaction management, digital content delivery and telemetry services. The applications can be further subdivided into passive and active m-commerce applications. Active application relates with the applications in which the user has to take the initiative on his wireless device. In contrast, the passive applications themselves get activated towards accomplishing the assigned jobs or facilitate the users to carry forward.
Conclusion
As m-commerce applications and wireless devices are evolving rapidly, one will take forward the other one towards empowering innovation, versatility and power in them. There are a number of business opportunities and grand challenges of bringing forth viable and robust wireless technologies ahead for fully realizing the enormous strength of m-commerce in this Internet era and thereby meeting both the basic requirements and advanced expectations of mobile users and providers.

Do you Make These Five Common Mistakes in Business Writing?
With today’s business moving at the speed of broadband, everyone expects better results in record time. Every day, we deal with hundreds of business communications in the form of e-mails, letters, phone calls, chats, and meetings—and that’s before we tackle the “to do” list.
It’s no wonder that many business messages often reads as if they were written between floors on an elevator, coming across as sloppy and careless. This article outlines five common mistakes in business writing, with tips on how to avoid them.
1. Burying the point. Time is short—get to the meat of the message as soon as possible. Think like a journalist: put the crucial information at the top, where people are sure to read it. If you leave the golden nugget for the final sentence, your reader might never get there. Make sure your message is labeled clearly in the title or subject line, so your reader can decide quickly how to organize it.
2. Inviting a yawn. Advertising expert Hal Stebbins notes, “If you’re bored with what you write, don’t blame the reader for yawning.” The best way to generate interest in your writing is to be interested yourself—in your subject, your reader, your company, and your Communication. Seek out and emphasize the most significant reasons to cause the reader to act or react as you want. When in doubt as to what to emphasize, remember that the person you’re writing to is still a human being—someone who is subject to the same things that motivate all people. If you wouldn’t want to read it, chances are, neither will your reader.
3. Saying in twenty words what you could say in five. Charles Dickens may have been a great novelist, but he was being paid by the word. In business writing, the longer the phrase, the better your chances of losing the reader halfway through. Keep it short and straightforward, and you’ll keep your reader’s attention. A quick way of figuring out where your writing needs editing is to ask yourself: “Would I say this the same way if I were talking with this person face to face?” Why businesspeople write “We will ascertain the facts and advice accordingly” when in conversation they would say, “We’ll find out and let you know” is a mystery. If you wouldn’t say it, don’t write it.
4. Using unfamiliar words. Your goal in writing should not be to impress the reader with your writing ability but to express ideas so that the reader can understand them. Some business writers thrive on using long words and unfamiliar technical, trade, or legal phraseology. These vocabulary exhibitionists use difficult words to give their writing an air of authority—but they end up sending the reader to the dictionary more often than not. Write to express, not impress, and you’ll save yourself and your reader a lot of trouble.
5. Relying on outdated language. Using obsolete expressions and clichés is the lazy way to write. Like anything else that comes too easily, the result is nothing to brag about. Filling your writing with phrases that belong in your grandfather’s legal documents will only alienate your reader, and using canned phrases will have your readers snoring. It’s much better to keep your writing up-to-date and fresh.
Hasty business writing is a one-way ticket to the “delete” button. It doesn’t take long to put a little care in your writing—a minute to spell check and another to check for common mistakes like the ones described–but the result will be a message that lasts much longer in your reader’s mind and is more effective in getting the results you want.
