What PDA is best for me??
I am a college student who mostly needs it for task reminders, scheduling, email, and web browsing (but entertainment doesnt hurt) I am deciding between the Dell axim x51, the Palm TX and the HP 4000 series. I am leaning toward the Palm becuase it got such good reviews and it does everything i need it to, but the dell and HP seem like they might be better quality. I want something that makes task managment easy and has wifi, a voice recorder, and preferably a long battery life. Any suggestions? I’m not opposed to looking into the prospect of other PDAs, but these are the three i found that seem to best suit me. I am looking on ebay and trying to keep it under $230
Those HTCs look awesome and blackberries are pretty nice too, but i’m not looking to get a new phone. I tend to be too hard on phones becuase i’m constantly using them. i just need the PDA to take quick notes, set date reminders, and occasionally check email and web browse. I dont plan on using it nearly as much as i use my phone!
I have HTC TyTN II, its an amazing phone with what u r looking for and much more…. but it is a bit expensive than $230.

Mobile Video Upload: Bringing People Closer to One Another
What we all fear when distance – physical distance – is placed between us and the ones we love is that an unwished for phenomenon should ensue. The consequence we fear is the alienation from the people with whom we once used to spend all of our time. Fortunately enough, the uplift manifest in communication technologies these days can serve as a reliable and valuable tool to help us keep in touch with those we left at home. In fact, the boost experienced by the above mentioned technologies is so impressive that even people who are separated by a continent can be parts of more than satisfactory communication.
From mobile phones to Internet facilitated means we have arrived at a particular pattern combining them both: a pattern of mobile video upload which associates the speed and quality of Internet services to the video features of cameras or of the many mobile phone services. This device has taken the form of an upload video site, where members can upload pictures, either from their mobile phones or from their video cameras, so that their loved ones should actually be able to have an accurate image about what’s new in their life.
An upload video site, where confidentiality of the pictures shared is maintained (pictures should be available only at the level of the people targeted by the sender of the pictures) and where uploads are possible even from mobile phones, is, however, a somewhat singular object, at least for now. Worried that a lower bandwidth Internet connection couldn’t keep up with the video format you are uploading? An AVI format might be indeed too demanding for the speed of such a connection, but a reliable upload video site will also “cooperate with” a RealVideo format and with a QuickTime format, and, as a matter of fact, with other types of video format (MPEG and Shockwave included). However, keep in mind that a lower bandwidth Internet connection will result in the poorer quality of the film streamed over the Internet. With a broadband/high-speed connection there will no need of similar worries. In this case, all that you care about is that the upload video site is adequate for uploading the type of video format specific to your mobile phone or video camera.
Moreover, there are possibilities of converting mobile phone video formats (such as 3GP) into AVI or MPEG formats, so you don’t need to tantalize yourself over the manner in which you should deal with a mobile video upload. There are generous resources of software able to operate such a conversion; the only thing you should be concerned about is that such software should be, at the same time, freeware and free of spyware. With several reviews on different types of software you can be certain you are doing the right thing. In the end, a mobile video upload does not require the skill of a scientist; it can be done, practically, by anybody who has ever dealt with mobile phones and with the Internet. And remember that such an upload video site remains a reliable tool, a stable bridge between different countries, or different continents for that matter; it is the channel that builds a connection between people in Canada on one side, for instance, and people in India, on the other side, crossing by means of an Internet stream over the continent of Europe and bringing remote locations closer.

Help me on this PDA-phone issue?
i’m currently looking for a PDA-phone that has Windows Mobile as its OS. It doesnt have to be a newly-released phone on the market. i’m looking for a decent second-hand PDA-phone which is able to help me manage my schedule, remind me of essential tasks, take some decent photos, work on some office documents, etc.. Internet surfing is of lowest priority. i’ve been looking around cnet reviews and it seems like there is quite a few major problematic issues surrounding O2 phones, especially it freezing at times and its battery life. Can anyone enlighten me on the worth of purchasing O2 products?
