[4] Is ACN a Business Opportunity or Scam?

http://www.acnvideos.com

ACN, the worlds largest direct selling telecommunications company, will be featured on an episode of The Celebrity Apprentice, March 22 , 2009.

Ive come to know Greg, Robert, Tony and Mike, the Co-Founders of ACN, very well. They have built a terrific company and their new ACN Video Phone is amazing. I simply cant imagine anyone using this video phone and not loving it. I cant wait to see how our Celebrity Apprentice Teams launch it to the world! stated Donald J. Trump.

The ACN Video Phone will be featured in an episode in which celebrity contestants are tasked with developing a launch event to showcase the new technology. The ACN Video Phone can truly change the way people communicate by allowing them to see the person they are talking to, not just hear their voice on the line; therefore celebrity contestants will be judged on how much energy, excitement and emotional appeal they convey in their unveiling.

The Celebrity Apprentice is an opportunity for ACN like none other. We are excited about having the celebrities unveil our ACN Video Phone to the world. This is a break-through technology that will literally revolutionize the way we communicate and will be in millions of homes in the near future, said ACN President and Co-Founder, Greg Provenzano.

ACN has been in business nearly two decades and operates in 20 countries on three continents. The company offers everyday services including local and long distance calling, Internet and wireless services, satellite TV and home security. In addition, ACN offers digital phone service with video phones the very latest in communications technology that is simple to use and requires a high speed broadband connection. Seeing is believing see for yourself on http://www.myacn.com.

Since 2006, ACN has been endorsed by multi-billionaire and Apprentice executive producer, Donald J. Trump. He has gone on to speak at several ACN International Training Events at which he has praised the companys founders, business model and video phone. A natural progression of this relationship is ACNs appearance on the prime-time reality show.

For more information on ACN, the revolutionary video phone and digital phone service, which can replace traditional phone service, visit http://www.myacn.com, www.acnintegrity.com, or http://www.acnvideos.com.

What is the best PDA/Phone?

I’m in need of a new PDA. I have the first HTC Tilt that came out, and it got wet and is now toast.

So… I’m back in the market. I saw that they have a new TILT 2, but I want to try something different.
I know I shouldn’t dare say this in front of the wrong people but the IPhone 3GS, is pretty appealing.
It seems to be the best multimedia machine out there. However… Is there better? I even read about the Android, and they said it was very good, but the camera sucked ***, and in the review it even said the new Iphones had a better camera.

I guess I am looking more for multimedia applications. Having Word and stuff is cool, but I’m more into "toys" than business applications.

Thanks!

Thanks!

Android devices all the way- Iphone is proprietary and annoying to work with.

Does anyone know if AT&T Wireless offers ‘free mobile to any other mobile’ calling?

Verizon recently began offering free mobile to any other mobile calling, and Sprint has been offering it for years.

The short answer is yes – AT&T offers this sort of calling feature. It is free as long as you have the $20 unlimited messaging on at least at $39.99 450 minute calling plan, or the $30 unlimited family messaging plan on at least a 700 minute FamilyTalk plan.

How does unlimited mobile to any other mobile work?

As long as you have the appropriate messaging feature on the account, you can make and receive free calls from your AT&T cell phone to any other carrier’s cell phones, as long as the other phone is a domestic US phone number, and your cell phone is calling from within the United States.

What is the result of free mobile to any other mobile calling?

The end result is that your usage of standard calling minutes will decrease. Your anytime minutes will only be used when making calls to or from landline phones to your AT&T mobile phone.

On Faster Business Communications

One important advantage of technology is having faster communications between the two ends. From state of the art cellular telephones that has access to the Internet, to high end video conferencing, businessmen and students alike would now have an easier and faster way to communicate.

Seeing the world as it is today, we can confirm that businesses from all over the world tend to communicate with one another without seeing face to face, all with the help of video conferencing. This type of communication allows businessmen to interact and share ideas and files without seeing each other face to face. This kind of technology helps businesses that cater to the world, with many different locations acting as one. Video conferencing works by simultaneous sharing of information through video, voice, digital white board, and data files. In a set video conference meeting, several individuals can share their voice and see themselves talk with the use of a live camera. The image size seen in the monitor can be compressed to be able to have more space for files that are accessed, displayed, and edited on the monitor at the same time. Businessmen engaging in a video conference have the option to work and share their information from either party’s computer. While changes within a certain project are discussed verbally, individuals may also edit and share their immediate feedback at the same time. Having the advantage of the digital white board, individuals may also write on each other’s white boards to allow professionals to make decisions and solve whatever problems they have on the spot.

Video conferencing showcases a lot of benefits with regards to the business itself. First, by using videoconferencing, businessmen might have easier negotiations with other businesses and/or individuals. By using this new approach, it can also save the company some money since by using such, businessmen would not have to pay for flights, in case meetings are held in another location. These kinds of conferencing can also fast track instructions and deals within the company. Instead of written instructions, one can tell the person doing the job directly what needs to be done. By talking and communicating in real time, different tasks can be done faster and with more precision.

Of course, video conferencing also has its downside. This approach to faster communications may not be too reasonable for smaller businesses. Big companies have the privilege to use this kind of conferencing, simply because the have the budget to do so. Either way, video conferencing is a positive aspect in one’s business, for it can heighten communications within the company, therefore boosting the business itself.

What PDA is best for me??

I am a college student who mostly needs it for task reminders, scheduling, email, and web browsing (but entertainment doesnt hurt) I am deciding between the Dell axim x51, the Palm TX and the HP 4000 series. I am leaning toward the Palm becuase it got such good reviews and it does everything i need it to, but the dell and HP seem like they might be better quality. I want something that makes task managment easy and has wifi, a voice recorder, and preferably a long battery life. Any suggestions? I’m not opposed to looking into the prospect of other PDAs, but these are the three i found that seem to best suit me. I am looking on ebay and trying to keep it under $230

Those HTCs look awesome and blackberries are pretty nice too, but i’m not looking to get a new phone. I tend to be too hard on phones becuase i’m constantly using them. i just need the PDA to take quick notes, set date reminders, and occasionally check email and web browse. I dont plan on using it nearly as much as i use my phone!

I have HTC TyTN II, its an amazing phone with what u r looking for and much more…. but it is a bit expensive than $230.
Any ways… goto this website.. www.gsmareana.com.

This site has one of the best reviews and features of almost all phones available atm.
And one more suggestion….. just dont look for dell, Palm or Hp….. O2 and HTC are two more brands that you might like…

cheers…

Mobile Video Upload: Bringing People Closer to One Another

What we all fear when distance – physical distance – is placed between us and the ones we love is that an unwished for phenomenon should ensue. The consequence we fear is the alienation from the people with whom we once used to spend all of our time. Fortunately enough, the uplift manifest in communication technologies these days can serve as a reliable and valuable tool to help us keep in touch with those we left at home. In fact, the boost experienced by the above mentioned technologies is so impressive that even people who are separated by a continent can be parts of more than satisfactory communication.

From mobile phones to Internet facilitated means we have arrived at a particular pattern combining them both: a pattern of mobile video upload which associates the speed and quality of Internet services to the video features of cameras or of the many mobile phone services. This device has taken the form of an upload video site, where members can upload pictures, either from their mobile phones or from their video cameras, so that their loved ones should actually be able to have an accurate image about what’s new in their life.

An upload video site, where confidentiality of the pictures shared is maintained (pictures should be available only at the level of the people targeted by the sender of the pictures) and where uploads are possible even from mobile phones, is, however, a somewhat singular object, at least for now. Moreover, finding the upload video site you can trust can be a rather difficult task; one guarantee that privacy terms are complied with is to browse through such a site and look for a privacy policy. You can be sure that privacy terms will not be evaded on a site like HotClips.mobi, because this is, above all, a site targeting family relations and the positive encouragement of closeness of these family relations.

How is it possible for an upload video site to improve a closeness that seemed shattered by distance? Just think about the significance that pictures have. A film of you and the friends you have made in the country where you work (or where you study) is as depictive as the e-mails you send. In fact, it is more eloquent. A mobile video upload can say more about the spontaneity of the moments you share with those left at home than any e-mail you have sent. Your voice and your face are there. The same, your parents, other relatives or friends can communicate with you through the same channel. You can send unique, loving messages by means of a mobile video upload. It is not closeness which is shattered, but rather it is distance the one which is overcome. The feeling created is a matchless one: togetherness. Of course, it was togetherness you were looking for. This is the feeling, the single, natural feeling able to prevent alienation. Families from different, remote places are brought together by a simple mobile video upload.

Worried that a lower bandwidth Internet connection couldn’t keep up with the video format you are uploading? An AVI format might be indeed too demanding for the speed of such a connection, but a reliable upload video site will also “cooperate with” a RealVideo format and with a QuickTime format, and, as a matter of fact, with other types of video format (MPEG and Shockwave included). However, keep in mind that a lower bandwidth Internet connection will result in the poorer quality of the film streamed over the Internet. With a broadband/high-speed connection there will no need of similar worries. In this case, all that you care about is that the upload video site is adequate for uploading the type of video format specific to your mobile phone or video camera.

Moreover, there are possibilities of converting mobile phone video formats (such as 3GP) into AVI or MPEG formats, so you don’t need to tantalize yourself over the manner in which you should deal with a mobile video upload. There are generous resources of software able to operate such a conversion; the only thing you should be concerned about is that such software should be, at the same time, freeware and free of spyware. With several reviews on different types of software you can be certain you are doing the right thing. In the end, a mobile video upload does not require the skill of a scientist; it can be done, practically, by anybody who has ever dealt with mobile phones and with the Internet. And remember that such an upload video site remains a reliable tool, a stable bridge between different countries, or different continents for that matter; it is the channel that builds a connection between people in Canada on one side, for instance, and people in India, on the other side, crossing by means of an Internet stream over the continent of Europe and bringing remote locations closer.

How do I start writing software for mobile phones?

Mobile phones meaning GSM phones, and software meaning application software. I have no clue on how to start writing. i.e languages, SDK, other requirements on my part. I only know the meaning of writing software, but the whole work of converting the ideas in my head to the tangible product is what I don’t know. I think I can learn it if I knew the works. I have ideas about some applications that I would like to try out. Thanks for any suggestions you may be able to give me.
The applications are network applications.

you should have a look at Mobile Processing it involves writing programs in the processing environment, and transferring them onto your phone.

Help me on this PDA-phone issue?

i’m currently looking for a PDA-phone that has Windows Mobile as its OS. It doesnt have to be a newly-released phone on the market. i’m looking for a decent second-hand PDA-phone which is able to help me manage my schedule, remind me of essential tasks, take some decent photos, work on some office documents, etc.. Internet surfing is of lowest priority. i’ve been looking around cnet reviews and it seems like there is quite a few major problematic issues surrounding O2 phones, especially it freezing at times and its battery life. Can anyone enlighten me on the worth of purchasing O2 products?

Get the SonyEricsson P990i . its awesome .
