Verizon Wireless PDA /Blackberry ???

Sorry, your browser does not support Videolla ad video player

I need to upgrade my PDA, I’m not sure which one of these is good.
Any comments,reviews,experiences??>??? thanks

1.Verizon Wireless XV6900
2.Samsung Omnia™
3.HTC Touch Pro™
4.BlackBerry® Storm™ 9530 smartphone
Jamal, thanks for the info :) isn’t the Palm Pre through Sprint?

1. XV6900 is a solid phone but not so much for Verizon, especially since its GPS functions are disabled and unlike other carriers it doesn’t have wifi, on top of that it’s soon to be discontinued as evidenced by the treo pro.

2. The Omnia is perhaps the most solid and has the best processor of any windows mobile phone for verizon. it has built in wifi, radio, memory, etc. this is your best bet. If windows mobile didn’t suck so much it would probably knock the iphone out.

3. The touch pro has a wonderful keyboard, interface, you name it, it is an HTC after all. This phone is also very solid, although if you want battery life this phone will die pretty quickly.

4. The blackberry storm is basically a good idea but it hasn’t been fulfilled to the tee. The only problem I can find with this is the buggy blackberry software and the lag that comes along with any full touch device.

If I were you I’d just hold out for the Palm Pre coming for spring, it’s touch screen is basically the iphones and from what Ive heard its a definite iphone killer. I’d also check out some of the Alltel phones since they are basically verizon now and they do have the Treo Pro. Also check out http://www.cnet.com for reviews on the phones your looking at. Hope I helped.

Useful Facts About IPhone Game Development

Technical knowledge is needed for successful iPhone game development. In simple terms, one must know deep programming concepts. Such will only be the case if one has been involved with matters of this niche for a very long period of time. If one is basically not a techie, it is impossible to handle the development task. If such is the case, it will have to be outsourced. Outsourcing is actually an easy affair. After the freelancer hired delivers the application desired, it can be used to earn money in the smart phone platform.

What is the best PDA/Phone?

I’m in need of a new PDA. I have the first HTC Tilt that came out, and it got wet and is now toast.

So… I’m back in the market. I saw that they have a new TILT 2, but I want to try something different.
I know I shouldn’t dare say this in front of the wrong people but the IPhone 3GS, is pretty appealing.
It seems to be the best multimedia machine out there. However… Is there better? I even read about the Android, and they said it was very good, but the camera sucked ***, and in the review it even said the new Iphones had a better camera.

I guess I am looking more for multimedia applications. Having Word and stuff is cool, but I’m more into "toys" than business applications.

Thanks!

Thanks!

Android devices all the way- Iphone is proprietary and annoying to work with.

How Can I Find My Stolen iPhone 4?

Stolen iPhone 4 location?

Every owner’s worst nightmare is their precious iPhone 4 being stolen. Something on the order of 90% of ‘lost’ iPhone 4s have actually been taken for either the use of the thief or to be wiped, jailbroken and resold on the black market. The $600 to $700 USD devices can be quickly and easily resold either in the United States or overseas for much more.

How can I recover my stolen iPhone 4?

Apple’s MobileMe service has a feature called ‘Find My Phone’. This service costs $99 per year for a single iPhone, or $149 for a family pack of 3 licenses. However, since MobileMe is way too expensive for what you get out of the cloud-based service, Apple has seen very few sales out of it compared to their extended-warranty product, AppleCare, Apple has made the ‘Find My Phone’ feature of MobileMe free of charge. Any iOs based device running iOs 4.0 or higher can take advantage of ‘Find My Phone’.

How does ‘Find My Phone’ work to find my stolen iPhone 4?

MobileMe works using the IP address of the stolen iPhone 4, along with triangulation of the cellular signal, if available. It will narrow down the location of the stolen iPhone 4 to standard GPS coordinates (approximately a 30 meter radius). The owner of the stolen iPhone 4 logs into www.me.com and enters their Apple ID and password. The owner of the stolen iPhone 4 can then ‘ping’ the phone for its location, have the device make a noise or send a message that will appear on the screen. The owner can then password-lock the stolen iPhone 4 or remotely wipe the device to prevent personal information from falling into the wrong hands.
